Metal Formwork for Concrete Edge Five and Edge Six

 

Modular means scale and accordingly this type of formwork is also described as versatile. The cost of modular formworks is very economical due to their use in all concrete structures such as wall concrete formworks. This type of formwork can be utilized tens of times without deformation if it does not fall from height. The surface of this formwork is made of a 3 mm steel sheet and the punched straps around the panel have 5 mm and the reinforcing belts of the concrete formwork of the building are 3 to 4 mm thick.

 

These types of formworks are produced by cutting, punching, and assembling separate straps and steel sheets to each other. The material used for the belts and sheets affects the quality and price of the product. To manufacture this product, the edges of 5 cm are cut accurately using lasers and welded around the formwork. If the width around the formwork is five cm, it is called formwork edge 5 and if it is 6 cm, it is called edge 6. Formworks edge 5 weigh around 20 kg and their price range depends on its weight. Modular formworks are available in various dimensions and weights and their price range varies according to their specification, usage, weight, being new or second-hand.

 

These formworks are made of a 3 mm thick steel sheet and its edges are either double bending or punched straps of 5 mm sheet with a height of 5 cm or 6 cm. The height or length of these formworks is one, 1.5, and 2 meters and their width in most cases is 20, 30, 40, and 50 cm. The complex takes the different specifications of the product into consideration at the customer’s request.

In most projects, edge five formworks are used because they have less seam than edge six formworks and after opening the formwork, less seam is observed, that is why we usually use edge five formworks where the smooth concrete surface is needed.

Concrete Formworking Equipment

Belt formwork is part of the formworking equipment that is used in the implementation of one-way and two-way walls, foundations and ceilings. Wide Formworks for Pouring Concrete

Wide formworks have very large specifications and require measures to prevent thermal cracks, which for example can control the heat of wide formworks by placing cool water pipes inside them. It is possible to create an interval of 72 hours between the end of a pouring concrete stage until the start of the next stage on the previous layer.

Wide formworks have different types including concrete in buildings and structures, pouring concrete for pavements, water canal, tunnels and waterways. The formworks have attracted many customers due to being under strict quality control in the design and production phases.
